So we were all set this week to proceed with our big long-term project to bring fresh edits from Major John's curated collection into the modern era, but other interesting prospects kept turning up, as they do.

For instance, we couldn't resist celebrating the arrival of Denis Villeneuve's acclaimed new adaptation of Dune with new edits from all three versions. Meanwhile, our friends Denkira and MysteryGuest dropped in with edits from Luther, Natalie's Lose Lose, and Sadakatsiz.

And speaking of MysteryGuest, he reminded us that we'd still never posted anything from the famous Japanese franchise Flower and Snake (aka Hana to hebi). The first installment is now online, but you can expect much more (including a couple front-page features) over the next couple weeks!
