Take it away, MysteryGuest!
In what’s fast becoming a tradition, here are some awards for my top scenes of the past year. Spoiler alert… 2025 was fantastic!
Best Scene: Tatort episode 1306 – Rapunzel
Elsa Langnäse's epic scene kicks off with tight on-screen tying and gagging, followed by extended on-screen struggles, including that ever-popular chair-tipping moment, and more struggling on the floor. It's already a beautiful scene, but what makes it truly special is the wonderful moment her captor rams back the mouth-packing and tightens her gag!
Best Show: Dias Perfeitos
After Clarice (Julia Dalavia) kisses medical student Téo at a party, he stuffs her into a suitcase and embarks on a his dream / her nightmare road trip across Brazil. Poor Clarice cries, struggles, and screams as she's chained up and gagged in a succession of isolated hotels and chalets across five episodes!
Best Gag: Reykjavík 112
Laufey Elíasdóttir’s gag is positively brutal: a tight, thick cleave topped with a multi-turn wraparound that drives it deeper into her mouth! I can’t imagine many actresses agreeing to wear that, but Laufey is very special...
Best Actress in a Damsel in Distress Role: Laufey Elíasdóttir
…because she also agreed to be hogtied ludicrously tightly with zip-ties at the same time. Surely that hurt? And after we add in some of the best facial expressions of all time, this is an easy win.
Best On-Screen Gagging: Katharina Tempel S01E03
Quite simply, the best self-gagging ever filmed. Katharina (Franziska Hartmann) stuffs her own mouth, then wraps tape twice around her head. Later, witness her eye-popping frustration as she demonstrates just how effective a wraparound with mouth packing can be.
Fun Damsel Fact for 2025
Did you wonder how Mercedes Müller (Spreewaldkrimi S01E17) kicked that guy in the chest? She’s a former kickboxer who competed internationally. Didn’t help much though, did it…?
